Programmes
The islamic University College has
a decidedly islamic environment
which is expected to encourage
Muslim students to enrol in it. That
might have been the reason why
most of the students admitted to
the university are Muslims.
However, it needs to be stressed
that the academic programmes
are secular. Admission is open to
all irrespective of religion, race,
sex, ethnicity or ideology.

The islamic University College started with the Department of Theology and
Religious Studies (islamic option) in the Faculty of Arts.

iUCG becomes autonomous or receives its charter, the University of Ghana
